Super tasty 😋. Sauerbraten with dumplings plus red cabbage and pork schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce we had today and it was a blast. Yammmmiiii we say and always gladly. Thanks to the whole team, even if we were only allowed to pick them up. Stay healthy .

The owners do not adhere to the Covid rules. We got out quickly.

We had a very nice evening there with delicious food. Very hospitable. This was our first visit, but 100% not the last. Thank you for this culinary delight.

Food was great. There are only a few tables, but we felt very comfortable. It wasn't busy at lunchtime, so the landlord had a lot of time for us. You can try everything from cheese to oil. Perfect!!

Tapas are of poor quality and the staff is very rude. The timing of food for frozen goods is also very much in need of optimization. All in all, the worst restaurant experience for me in the last decade. But tastes are sometimes different ...

I don't know if they had a bad day or if it was our selection. Acted mostly like simple frozen goods. Couldn't convince in terms of taste and preparation. Between the Pimientos de Patron (which were otherwise quite good) a fried fly is slowly becoming borderline. The olives and beer were good (San Miguel on tap). The service is a little quirky. That might irritate one or the other visitor.

Been here a few times now. The food was excellent every time. Beautifully located in downtown Uerdingen, you can always stop here. The landlord is a real original, very attentive, personable and has one or two funny stories ready. I highly recommend Esspana to everyone.

We, two couples, have reserved in advance. There were tables free, we could choose where we wanted to sit. The host serves himself, initially a very unusual type, but in the course of the evening a very pleasant, nice atmosphere. The tapas selection is great, the drinks over wines and spirits are incredibly good at a very good price / performance ratio. We enjoyed the evening very much, we will be happy to enjoy further evenings there. Many thanks to the friendly host couple.

At 13 o'clock the restaurant was empty. Tapas available from 18 ... starters are cheese and potatoes ?! I expected paella and gazpacho from Spanish cuisine. Mediterranean cuisine where fruit can reign rather than potatoes.

My girlfriend and I have just by chance become aware of this small and very authentic restaurant. We arrived immediately very familiar and well-advised. The tapas were consistently delicious. How will return here at the next devoted opportunity?

Was not that excited. Orders did not come at the same time, something was missing. The fries were all salted. My steak looked more cooked than fried, although it was very tender. But it simply lacked the roasted aroma. No, we will not go there anymore

Food not really good. Musty smell in the whole restaurant (from the cheese counter?)

Could not convince and we will not recommend it. The open wine, both red and rosé, was really the very best quality. Actually shameful for a deli, who might even want to sell one or the other bottle. The lamb rolls with couscous had seen no lamb, to my taste. Potatoes and calamari would have been pretty crispy and tastier - unfortunately they were bland. In principle Ok were the fried sardines and the "sweet chicken", but both could not avert the unsatisfactory overall impression. Well meant is not necessarily well done. One also wonders what Matjes have to do in the map of a Spanish restaurant. That's just on the edge.

Unfortunately, the food has little to do with Spanish cuisine. With 3 visits there was always something wrong, sometimes something cold, then burned, then the waitress didn't feel like it. Quite expensive for that. I also liked to experience the landlord in the area as a "traffic educator" to other people. Oh, I'd rather eat somewhere else.
